Mormons Funding Terrorism?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Mormon Church, is the single largest donor to the U.S. branch of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), also known as Islamic Relief. In the past year, it donated $1.6 million to the charity.

But Islamic Relief is not just any charity. The Israeli government says it is a HAMAS front group. It is also under investigation by the American government.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or Kim Jong Il? Check this out.......

The planet's number-one nutcase, North Korean Dear Leader Kim Jong-il, has escalated his war of words with the United States, threatening to attack US cities with hydrogen bombs.

From an article today in the Asia Times, "Why Pyongyang is Going Nuclear," comes close to a declaration of war.

Excerpts:

"The time is coming fast to decide who is the winner and who the loser in the long-standing conflict between the Korean people....

"The North Korean government of Kim Jong-il is going to show who the real masters of Korea are by winning the nuclear standoff with the US. The Korean people adamantly refuse to be second-class citizens, but are determined to prove that they are sovereign masters of the Land of Morning Calm....

"The KPA is now capable of detonating hydrogen bombs far above the metropolises of the US in case of war. The Koreans are now able to fight nuclear war on the Japanese and US battlegrounds.

"There should be no doubt that the government of Kim Jong-il and his armed forces would never allow the enemy to attack first. On detecting the slightest signs that the US intends to launch a first strike, Kim would order his armed forces to move first and blaze key US metropolitan targets with high-precision nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), several exploding at high altitudes. It goes without saying that operating nuclear power stations would be prime targets, sitting ducks.

"The stage is being put in place where North Korea will demonstrate its potential capability for the rest of the world to see. Korean scientists and engineers are ready to detonate nuclear devices at any time on orders from Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il. More and more nuclear weapons and long-range ballistic missiles are being cranked out on a crash-program basis in a bid to catapult North Korea to the spot of the third-most-powerful nuclear-weapons state just after the US and Russia."

What is China going to do? More on that in a bit.........

Cant we send Carter over there? They can keep him. He did such a great job negotiating with the Iranians when he was our 'President'. What irony, remember, it was 'Achtunmejad' who took our hostages when Carter was around the first time.

Why does this matter to me?

My older sister and her husband have a summer house on a lake in the Pequot Lakes, MN area (where I went on my vacation last month), their daughter, my niece, was very good friends with Dru Sjodin, the Sjodin's summer house is 2 houses down from my sisters. Anyway, she was brutally raped and murdered..... this guy is a sick freak and hope he rots in hell.

It's Wake Up Time Folks, Iran Must Be Stopped

This is one of the most insightful and important foreign policy articles since 9/11.

Stanley Kurtz expands on Stephen Peter Rosen’s thesis that a nuclear Iran is the gateway to a new era of danger which must include nuclear strikes on U.S. soil Must reading.

Excerpts from Stanley Kutz's excellent, must read article:

........the dovish Democrats are doomed. In “Hawkish Gloom,” I (Kurtz) pointed in broad terms to the imminent hawkification of the United States. Well, Rosen’s detailed account of a post-proliferation world makes it clear that the revitalized George McGovern-Howard Dean wing of the Democratic party cannot survive much past the moment when Iran gets the bomb. As soon as that happens, we’re going to plunged into a proliferation crisis and a new Cold War, at least as dangerous as the first Cold War (arguably more so). At that point, the Democrats are going to beg Joe Lieberman to come back and give them his blessing. It turns out that we really are going to see a purge of the Democratic doves, and the accession of a Truman-like party, although it will probably take quite a few election cycles before the Democrats finally manage to remove taint of their Ned Lamont wing.

Funny how the very thing the doves don’t want — a preemptive strike on Iran, is the only thing that can save them. A nuclear Iran, followed by cascading proliferation throughout the Middle East and beyond, means the death of the dove. Even a negotiated and verifiable agreement to put an end to Iran’s nuclear program is inconceivable without the sort of credible threat of force the doves have made impossible to sustain.

....and.....

In a nuclear Middle East, we will be allied with Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia against Iran. But who knows whether Iran may try to strike a deal with one of the other Muslim states at some point, perhaps cozying up to Saudi Arabia if America puts too much pressure on the House of Saud. Just as America (very imperfectly) peeled Pakistan away from the informal rogue-state coalition after 9/11, shifting alliances between multiple nuclear camps will become a real possibility. American power will no longer command a fully nuclearized world. Instead, we’ll be the first among nuclear equals, jockeying for position against coalitions of powers who collectively may be able to stand us down. In this new world, Ned Lamont and the Daily Kos will be a distant memory.

To compliment this, The Washington Times has a great piece today, get ready folks, war is coming and expect it to be nuclear.

Words To Remember:

"I would be willing to bet that, in another year or so, … Khomeini will be [seen as] some kind of saint when we finally get over the panic of what is happening there," -Jimmy Carter's UN envoy, Andrew Young, commenting on the 1979 overthrow of the pro-American Shah of Iran by the avowedly anti-Western Ayatollah Ruhollah Khommeini

"America cannot do a damn thing." -Ayatollah Khomeini, commenting on the hostage crisis after receiving President Carter's flattering, handwritten appeal for the release of the captured Americans "from one believer to a man of God."

“Iran is the only country in the world that has now had six elections since the first election of President Khatami (in 1997). (It is) the only one with elections, including the United States, including Israel, including you name it, where the liberals, or the progressives, have won two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote in six elections: Two for president; two for the Parliament, the Majlis; two for the mayoralties. In every single election, the guys I identify with got two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote. There is no other country in the world I can say that about, certainly not my own.” -Former President Bill Clinton, speaking on the Charlie Rose Show, on America's PBS TV network.

[There is] no significant need for the United States." -Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

"No Muslim country treats non-Muslims and their religions anywhere nearly as decently as any Western non-Muslim country (including Israel) treats Muslims. That is why tens of millions of Muslims immigrate to non-Muslim societies and virtually no non-Muslim immigrates to any Muslim society. In every Muslim country, non-Muslims are either systematically persecuted at worst or treated as inferiors at best."

The real BAD kind.

Did Jew Know?

That Gene Simmons from the rock band KISS, is not afraid to speak out against Muslim extremism.

The band KISS was in its heyday when I was a pup, but I was never a fan of them, I always thought that they were a gimmick band (they were and are) but it is refreshing to hear an entertainer who sees how fundamentalist Islam is holding the world ransom, and speaks out against the horrific treatment of women in some Muslim countries.

The Israeli-born US musician Simmons, the band's bass player, was born Chaim Witz in the northern Israeli city of Haifa before emigrating to New York as a child. went on to say Islam was a "vile culture" that treated women worse than dogs.

Muslim women had to walk behind their men and were not allowed to be educated or own houses, he said.

"Your dog, however, can walk side by side, your dog is allowed to have its own dog house... you can send your dog to school to learn tricks, sit, beg, do all that stuff - none of the women have that advantage."

He went on to say the west was under threat.

"This is a vile culture and if you think for a second that it's going to just live in the sands of God's armpit you've got another thing coming," he said.

You can throw in Honky, Whitey or any others, we're all good with that! ;-)

On my recent golf trip with the boys, including Vinstein, he and I were talking about how the both us were going to team up and kick the crap out of the Muzzies and get the ball rolling for their downfall. The Vinstein came up with a beauty, he brought up the idea that the uprising of women would start the downfall.

Then I added my 2 cents worth.....

How about this………Iran President Ahmadinejad knows that a massive student uprising could derail his leadership as well as the mullahs, and according to many Iranians living in the U.S they believe that to be true.

They need a martyr.

A popular student needs to arise so the mullahs kill him. Now think if the martyr was a woman! Women are oppressed there and could rise up, it is said that many muslim women are westernized inside the home and complain about the conditions outside the home. So, how about the martyr(s) be a Female Student(s)?

Vinnie, I heard you holed out on #18 from 225 yards for an eagle at We-Ko-Pa last week......great shot and...........nice drive pardner.

Friday Fun: How To Kill A Westerner

The Religion of Peace at work.

On August 4, 2006, the Al-Hesbah website published instructions on "How to Kill a Crusader in the Arabian Peninsula." The document was signed by Amer Al-Najdi, and dated June 15, 2006.

Al-Najdi instructs his readers in some possible ways to kill a Westerner, from choosing the victim through following him through the stage of the actual killing.

Some happy excerpts:

"In order to carry out the operation when the time comes, you must have a weapon (a pistol or a submachine gun) or a good knife, if you are interested in slaughtering this infidel or this [Saudi] dog...

"After the operation succeeds, you will realize that this is very simple, and that there is no need for an entire squad [to carry it out] but that one, two, or three people are enough...

Jerusalem Post Reports: Iran Planning "Nuclear Surprise"

JP Staff: has it here.

Who knows what to make of this, all I know (and just about everyone else) is that #@%*&*! U.N. is the most worthless organization in the world, they couldn't contain an ant pile.

I tell you what, these guys are so full of cash, so full of hate for the US/Israel/anybody non-muslim, they will bring it to us before we will ever realize it. Enough of the political debating, pandering, wiretapping, profiling B.S., we're near the end of the 3rd quarter here, it's getting a bit hairy, we all need to sack up before it's too late.

Joe Gringo - Music Critic

This guy's video "Seashores of Old México", is a somewhat eerily a reminder of my México experiences, the hitch hiking, catching rides, meeting/marrying a chica Méxicana ;-), the gringo references, it's a very well done video.

This gentleman has a new song out "Give it Away", and it may his best yet to date......and he's had 53 #1 hit songs to date, this will be #54. It's just about the ultimate Country song, the lyrics, the "hmmmm" inflections, fantastic electric guitar and fiddle work as well as the production. Ain't no one can deliver a song like George Strait. It's my favorite song right now.

Don't have his new song yet, new album will be out in November, but here's the video for The Seashores of Old Mexico . You may have to look for the link once you are directed to the page.

FYI...I love rock n' roll and blues as well> I will say this, for every decent new rock n' roll tune out these days, there are AT LEAST 10 great country songs. The Who may be right at this time, Rock n' Roll is Dead. ;-)

Point of No Return?

This compliments yesterdays (below) post.

Thomas Sowell at Real Clear Politics writes that "we are fast approaching a point of no return"
against the radicals in Islam in the article Point of No Return?

Excerpts:

Humiliation and hate go together. Why humiliation? Because a once-proud, dynamic culture in the forefront of world civilizations, and still carrying a message of their own superiority to "infidels" today, is painfully visible to the whole world as a poverty-stricken and backward region, lagging far behind in virtually every field of human endeavor.

There is no way that they can catch up in a hundred years, even if the rest of the world stands still. And they are not going to wait a hundred years to vent their resentments and frustrations at the humiliating position in which they find themselves.

Israel's very existence as a modern, prosperous western nation in their midst is a daily slap across the face. Nothing is easier for demagogues than to blame Israel, the United States, or western civilization in general for their own lagging position.

Hitler was able to rouse similar resentments and fanaticism in Germany under conditions not nearly as dire as those in most Middle East countries today. The proof of similar demagogic success in the Middle East is all around.

...

These are the kinds of people we are talking about getting nuclear weapons. And what of ourselves?

We, the western world, has to date shown no understanding of this and certainly no will to confront this threat.

Europe has been infliltrated and nearly taken over by Islam. They have already capitulated and have chosen to the path of eternal appeasment. Much of Asia is either fighting against Islamic radicals or has been co-opted. Wars are raging in Africa, more like Islamic ethnic cleansing really. The US and Israel, with some assistance from countries like Australia, are the only two countries who have been willing to confront this problem. Half of the US is ready to give up the fight already as too hard and Israel is branded as an outlaw nation by most of the world for defending herself.

One of these days people are going to wake up and realize that we can't and shouldn't negotiate with these people. We need to take them at their word when they say they mean to kill us. I'm afraid it will take at least one more major tragedy for the west to finally understand the stakes.

"We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization… we must make use of everything we have at hand to strike at this front by means of our suicide operations or by means of our missiles. There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them."

Okay, now how does one respond to this sort of wackjobbery from the above statement? Look no further than Winston Churchill with one of his famous quotes:

You ask: What is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror. However long or hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.

Churchill had warned us about Hitler and Nazism, the Soviet threat, but not too many know that Churchill had warned us about Islamic fundamentalism.

On 14 June 1921, hard on the heels of the Cairo Conference, at which he had presided over the re-shaping of the Middle East, including the creation of modern day Iraq, he warned the House of Commons:

A large number of [Saudi Arabia’s King] Bin Saud’s followers belong to the Wahabi sect, a form of Mohammedanism which bears, roughly speaking, the same relationship to orthodox Islam as the most militant form of Calvinism would have borne to Rome in the fiercest times of [Europe’s] religious wars.

The Wahabis profess a life of exceeding austerity, and what they practice themselves they rigorously enforce on others. They hold it as an article of duty, as well as of faith, to kill all who do not share their opinions and to make slaves of their wives and children. Women have been put to death in Wahabi villages for simply appearing in the streets.

It is a penal offence to wear a silk garment. Men have been killed for smoking a cigarette and, as for the crime of alcohol, the most energetic supporter of the temperance cause in this country falls far behind them. Austere, intolerant, well-armed, and blood-thirsty, in their own regions the Wahabis are a distinct factor which must be taken into account, and they have been, and still are, very dangerous to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina…

Many call this the clash of civilizations or religions, what it is is a clash of idealogies.....one thing is for absolute certainty, the essence of Islam is to rule the world. We are in the end stages of the original World War that began in 622 A.D. and which could take years or generations to fight. I, nor anyone that I know, will not submit to a pedophile prophet's idealogy.......we are in a fight against Islam and as Winston Churchill said, nothing short of victory will do.

China's Pension Time Bomb

Let's take a stroll over to China and see what's up...

According to a United Nations (whatever) study released last year, the number of people aged 60 or over is expected to rise to 31 percent of the population in 2050, or more than 430 million people, from just 10.9 percent last year. That would be well above the projected world average of 21.7 percent in 2050.
The report said the appearance of an aging population in a developing country where per capita GDP has only just exceeded $1,000 was "unprecedented". "The country is unique in the world in that is it aging first without becoming affluent," it said.
Since China began opening up to the outside world almost 30 years ago, millions of people have flooded to cities from the countryside looking for work, and have helped turn the country into the world's factory, making everything from shoes to cars. Analysts have warned that China faces a "pension time bomb" from its aging population.

China Daily has the rest.

August 22nd

As I write this, it's just past 'Midnight at the Oasis' and Ol' Mad Mood Ahma-doing-jihad is enjoying his last few tender moments with his boyfriend Al-Smelli Bhad, before his big day, Aug. 22.

As Muslims, they say the day starts at SunRISE. The real fun happens when the sun goes back down, because Mo took his Celestial Journey to Infinity and Beyond at night. Should be interesting tomorrow morning.

My take:

This guy is full of shiite.

THE War

My buddy, the unflappable Vinstein, sent this to me, written by Major General (Dr.) Vernon Chong, it's an article about the current war we are waging in Iraq and the war the Muslims are waging against non-Muslims worldwide.

Give this to any of your anti-war, liberal friends, co-workers, enemies or pets, it's a must read for them.

To get out of a difficulty, one usually must go through it. Our country is now facing the most serious threat to its existence, as we know it, that we have faced in your lifetime and mine (which includes WWII).

The deadly seriousness is greatly compounded by the fact that there are very few of us who think we can possibly lose this war and even fewer who realize what losing really means.

First, let's examine a few basics:

1. When did the threat to us start?

Many will say September 11, 2001.
The answer as far as the United States is concerned is 1979, 22 years prior to September 2001, with the following attacks on us:

* Iran Embassy Hostages, 1979;
* Beirut, Lebanon Embassy 1983;
* Beirut, Lebanon Marine Barracks 1983;
* Lockerbie, Scotland Pan-Am flight to New York 1988;
* First New York World Trade Center attack 1993;
* Dhahran, Saudi Arabia Khobar Towers Military complex 1996;
* Nairobi, Kenya US Embassy 1998;
* Dares Salaam, Tanzania US Embassy 1998;
* Aden, Yemen USS Cole 2000;
* New York World Trade Center 2001;
* Pentagon 2001.

(Note that during the period from 1981 to 2001 there were 7,581 terrorist attacks worldwide).

2. Why were we attacked?

  • ‘Then why are all the terrorists Muslims?’
  • These folks are nails.

    See What A Cease Fire Gets You?

    We live in a time where it is now all or nothing, kill or be killed, or submit to Islam. Or, hope for an overthrow of these regimes, but that is doubtful. Total elimination is what we need to strive for.

    Would like to thank Gringo Grande's (my younger 'bro) Father-in-laws brother. He's one of the good guys, editorial cartoonist/artist in SoCal, just south of Los Angeles in beautiful San Clemente.

    México's Next Government

    Vicente Fox never really had a chance to get much accomplished, especially with the PRI controlled congress in México. Him being elected in 2000 was just what México needed for a freer future, the ball is now rolling.

    Fox's election in 2000 was greeted as a new era in Mexico, one in which it seemed suddenly possible that all of Mexico's problems hadbeen solved. But many of Fox's admirers have been disappointed by the results. Perhaps unduly disappointed: Mexico's economy is growing at a good rate, its currency seems stable (no devaluation since 1994), there has been progress in strengthening the rule of law. Calderón seems prepared to offer further reforms, which may well be passable in the Congreso. Countries don't change overnight. But Mexican voters' decision, by a very narrow margin, to elect Felipe Calderón seems to put Mexico on a trajectory to further progress to freer markets, more economic growth, stronger democratic institutions, and rule of law.

    Michael Barone takes a look at Mexico's next government.

    ELECTION UPDATE:
    Mark in México has the skinny:

    Polls recounted: 11,838
    Calderon: -6769 votes
    A.M. López Obrador: +304 votes
    AMLO gain: +7073 votes
    Avg. gain per poll: +0.5975 votes

    If we extrapolate the AMLO gain per poll over the 131,000 polls utilized in the election, and we say that AMLO would gain the same number of votes per poll, he would recover 128,000 votes. He lost the election by about 260,000, so he still loses.

    How To Fight The Bloodthirsty Terrorists

    We take a page right out of their book, and it's not easy to write, but civilians are fair game. Look at Hezbollah. They made the change, even though civilians have always been fair game. You are not supposed to target civilians for the sake of targeting them, but when they are part of the infrastructure, and mingle with combatants they are fair game. We slaughtered hundred of thousands of civilians during WWII.

    In the long run, compassion is defeat.

    Poll: Two-thirds of Israeli's Against Cease Fire Without Return of Hostages

    Poll: Two-thirds Against Cease Fire Without Return of Hostages
    14:39 Aug 16, '06 / 22 Av 5766

    IsraelNN.com:
    A new telephone poll released by the Dahaf institute shows that almost two-thirds of the respondents are against the cease fire without a return of the kidnapped IDF soldiers. Forty-one percent think Prime Minister Ehud Olmert should resign.

    More than half of the people surveyed said the government performed satisfactorily during the war, but 63 percent of the people gave bad marks to Defense Minister Amir Peretz.

    Two-thirds want a governmental commission to investigate the management of the army and the government. The respondents were split on their perceptions of who won the war, with one-third giving Israel the victory, another third saying Hizbullah won and the remainder saying they did not know.

    This shows that the Israeli public gets it. To bad the members of Knesset don't.

The move sparked a riot outside the White House, as incensed -- and drunk -- members of the Whig party bombarded the White House with stones, fired their guns in the air and burned Tyler in effigy. In response to the outburst -- which still stands as the most violent demonstration ever held outside the White House -- the government formed the District of Columbia's police force

    Oh, Those Muslim, Cell Phone Entrepreneurs

    Give me a break.

    Two more Muslim "students" have been arrested in Marietta, Ohio after buying 600 TracFones and reselling them to someone in Dearborn, Michigan. The two are being held under $200,000 bond. One of the pair, Osama Sabhi Abulhassan, 20, told a reporter in 2002:

    He’s fighting for a cause like the United States is. But he’s killing innocent people, and that makes him appear to be a bad guy.

    Okay, if you have Osama in your name, well then you've got 2.9 strikes against you, that's just the way life is now-a-days, this ain't rocket science, pal. I'm all for racial profiling the living hell out of everyone, look, if there was a purple skinned, green-eyed 7 footer with four teeth, should the authorities be checking in on 70 year old grannies or a short, chubby eskimoes? Hell no. Learn to deal with profiling, if walks and quacks like a duck....it sure as hell probably is a duck. If you're 18-40 and look like an ME'sterner, then be prepared to be checked sometime in your life, if you have nothing to fear, the authorities are protecting YOU the same as they are protecting ME.

    Why The World Hates The Jews

    Muslims don't really count here, they hate everybody! ;-)

    With only 13 million Jews in the world – less than one fourth of one percent of the earth’s population – why does this tiny group inspire such bitter, widespread and often violent animosity?

    Read the rest here by the highly esteemed and one of my favorite intellectuals, Michael Medved.

    I came across this:

    Why are the Jews detested, abhorred, and the object of genocidal rage throughout the ages?

    The "Chosen People" have blessed the nations being instruments of the Living God to bring Salvation to fallen man. The Answer, because the irreconcilable enemy of God, the Jews and mankind, Satan, exists. If Satan can expunge the Jews and their tribal brethern from the earth, how then can the temple be rebuilt and the covenantal sacrifices be offered to God again? According to Biblical prophesy, this must occur prior to the return of Messiah Jesus to the earth. At his second appearing the Messiah will take up his Eternal Reign on earth from the Holy City of Jerusalem. If the Jews are genocidally exterminated, the prophesy fails, God is found false; Satan will have won. Satan knows the prophesy and is overcome simultaneously with rage and terror. His days are numbered. This is but one reason that the Jews are abhorred by their enemies.

    British Terror Watch

    Not much I can really add at this point, other than a catchy little ol' headline, but just about every freakin' violent act happening in the world right now has to do with Muslims.

    Worry About the West - Not Israel

    If Victor Davis Hanson were a baseball player, he'd be all-time home run leader, Hank Aaron, 'cause he knocked another one out of the park today. As I've posted many times earlier....VDH, Secretary of State.....for 2008!

    When will the left wake up and learn that besides the NORKS, the problems/violence all over the world are mostly the making by Muslims!

    Read VDH's Worry About the West — Not Israel.

    Excerpts:

    The Western press — usually so careful to condemn hate speech — is utterly silent about Arab racism. But a European paper recently published a cartoon portraying Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert as a Nazi, secure that no rabbi would issue threats that could cost the editors their heads.

    and.....

    Instead far more worrisome is the moral crisis in the West itself. If so many of its politicians, intellectuals and media will not or cannot fathom moral differences in this war, they will hardly be able to see them anywhere else.

    The Chinese Are Coming.......

    Chinese-Cuban Oil Rigs Rise off Florida Coast. While Cuba's immediate future may be in doubt, this much seems certain: the Chinese are coming!

    With help from China, Canada, and Spain, the Communist dictatorship is drilling for oil less than 60 miles off the coast of Florida. A total of 36 huge rigs are planned.

    The Cuban government has also signed a contract with China's oil and gas company, Sinopec, to explore areas around the island thought to contain oil deposits.

    But the presence of Chinese oil rigs within view of the Florida coastline is a dramatic development, angering many Americans.

    Even worse, from an American perspective, Iran has promised to fund both exploratory drilling and building refineries on the island, according to the Tehran Times.

    A Call You Will Never Forget

    I've never seen this before, from Hot Air, it's 5 minutes in length, watch and listen until the end, it's intense, I can't imagine the fear this guy had to deal with.

    ....and George W. Bush is the world's biggest terrorist? These people are wacked. 9-11-01 is impossible to forget. Never, ever forget.

    Those Crazy Jews....

    What are they thinking...... ;-)

    If the Jews would just die without making a lot of noise, the Nice People could get on with the really important things in life, stuffing their faces with salmon and bean sprouts, watching the Rev. Billy Don Moyers pontificate on PBS, and making more Nice People.

    The Nice People, manipulated by the coverage of the fighting in Lebanon, are getting fed up with the Israelis, who are acting as if they have the right to survive in peace to live lives of quiet exasperation. But the Jews insist on "disproportionality," on firing back when fired on by the Hezbollah "guerrillas," as the newspaper and television correspondents insist on calling "terrorists."

    Mel Gibson and The Dixie Chicks

    Hhmmmmm, now there's a pair of celebrities I never thought I'd have in the same sentence.......

    This is America, aren't you free to hate anyone or anything you have a notion to?

    Of course, you might have to face the consequences of expressing those feelings publicly...but it is still your right. Hating your President is nothing new, prejudice is nothing new, it's been around forever and for sure always will be around.

    Mel Gibson is man no better than you or me, he's an actor and a Hollywood Director, The Skanks are no better than you or me. What Mel Gibson said was disgusting, what The Hags said was pathetic, if you don't like what they say or do, don't buy their stuff. These people have a talent that most people don't have but that doesn't make them any better than you or I. You are responsible for what comes out of your mouth, we are a free country and we do not have to accept what you say as "gospel", BUT, there may be consequences and you must realize that.

    So do the right thing Mel, apologize, raise money (or reach into your extremely deep pockets), etc. and donate to Jewish charities, get help, correct your racial views and I hope you can continue to make great movies.

    Just be thankful you live in a country where you can say those things and eventually will be forgiven, and all that happens is you lose some money........and not your head.

    Hugo and Iran

    Now there's a hell of a pair........go to Mark in México.

    Hhmmm, a funky link, try this
