Chavez: Planting the Seeds of Anti-Semitism

On a roll with this troll...........

A pro-Chavez paper in Venezuela has just printed an article that you won't believe. If you don't think Chavez has his hands deep inside the media's pocket in Venezuela, this may turn the tide for you. He is planting the seeds of anti-Semitism and planting the seeds for a very dark future. Thanks to Alexandra Beech and Daniel Duquenal from Venezuela. Here's the article and below is the translated text:

The Zionist Jews
By Tarek Muci Nasir
El Diario Caracas

Zionists, the destructive sect of radical Jews, are again impregnating
the Jewish community with its animosity towards humanity. The genocide
they executed in Palestine and Lebanon is similar to the Holocaust
which the Nazis executed against them, and they will undergo another
Holocaust because of the global hatred they are accumulating. If the
Jews have charged the Nazis for their victims, they will have to pay
Lebanon for their killings. The Jewish race is condemned to disappear,
because if they continue marrying among themselves they will continue
to degenerate; if they open their marriages they will racially dilute
themselves, so they only recourse is to stay united, to provoke wars,
and auto-genocides.

Israelis are lying when they say they are the favored people of God;
on the contrary, because they are always at war and without their own
land, it seems that they are marked for having destroyed Jesus Christ.
We should reform the Bible which falsely refers to them as the chosen
race by God, and we will act to stop them from manipulating the Jewish
community. The United States is trapped by Zionists who control their
economy and many critical positions in their government; and we must
avoid that this critical situation takes place in Venezuela before
they also ruin us, because they can possess any nationality, but first
they act as Jews in whatever land they plant themselves. Israel
couldn't resist that despite possessing Jerusalem as the capital of
the Christian world, Lebanon continued to have more international
tourism, and now, due to international repulsion, Israel will have
even less [tourism].

Let's pay attention of the Israeli-Zionist associations, unions and
federations which are conspiring to Venezuela to take over our
finances, our industries, commerce, construction; which are
infiltrating government positions and politics. Possibly, we'll have
to expel them from the country, as other nations have done, which is
the reason that Jews remain in a continuous state of stateless exodus,
and it is why in 1948 they invaded Palestine, guided by Albion. Will
global justice allow the United States, England, and Israel to destroy
the Middle East to take over its oil? Only the union of its people
will save them.

The only way that humanity will reconcile with the Jews is if these
renounce their Zionist leadership, which aspires to dominate the
world, and if they stop presenting themselves as the Chosen people of
God, and when they do so, we will hug them fraternally as equal human
beings.

Setting The Stage For December

First off.....

Go and buy your T-shirt here.

Regular readers already know that I have had many posts on the despicable Hugo Chavez. Like his idol, Fidel Castro, Chavez would like nothing more than to be the driving force to take down the United States, and with his recent travels to the U.N. in NYC as well as his travel around the world meeting with the King of the Norks Jong Il, Ahmadinejad, et al, Chavez has been doing about all he can do to stir up hatred for the USA.

Like Castro, Kim Jong Il, Ahmadinejad, Saddam, Chavez is intoxicated with power and believes he is above all else....taking away personal freedoms, creating a forced dependence on fellow countrymen to the government and invoking terror and even targeted assassinations on those who disagree with him (it's amazing how many journalists who disagree with Chavez have mysteriously died).

A reader from the Cuban community in Florida recently sent me some information about the pre-Castro days in Cuba and what it was like before the tyrant took over. Unfortunately the photo's and captions sent are not Blogger compatible, however among the information sent was the average salary of Cubans working for a Cuban citizen(s) owned company that we all know, Bacardi. In 1956, the average annual salary for a Bacardi employee was $1957.82, compare that to the average monthly salary for 2005, which is $10 or $120 per year. Now compare that to the average salary in 1956 to today and you have a difference of 1632%! Let's not forget about the huge bennies provided, such as health care benefits and paid vacation (totaling 1 MONTH).

Oh, how they long for the good ol' days.

Why bother about Cuba? Well, it is because we all know (well at least conservatives) that Hugo Chavez is in the process of making Venezuela the next Cuba. Like Castro, Chavez is aligning himself with world communist and socialist leaders to position themselves against the evil, capitalistic United States. It has been documented that Chavez has supported terrorist training camps in Venezuela as well as in Guayana & Suriname, conveniently located Sunni Muslim swampholes hidden at the top of South America. Top that off with his hand in the back pocket of the FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia - Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) and there is a recipe for big-time problems with regards to kicking him out of power.

The Venezuelan Consititution calls for Presidential term limits of 2 terms.

``If the majority of the people say yes, we'll have to change the constitution so that re-election in Venezuela will be indefinite,'' Chavez, 52, said in a televised speech in Caracas before tens of thousands of red-shirted supporters. ``The people will decide.'' Chavez would have to step down in 2013 under the current constitution if he wins in December.

Fat chance.

Last week in Israel's intelligence webzine, DEBKAfile, it was reported that officials from Iran, Cuba and Venezuela were putting their heads together on ways of translating their leaders' rhetoric into effective war action against the USA. After their meeting, officials from Iran and Venezuela moved their talks to Venezuela where Ahmadinejad continued his talks with Chavez on Sept. 17 and 18. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during those talks.

You may recall back in 1979 in Iran the day of the embassy take over, Castro said that "Together Iran and Cuba can bring America to her knees". The next year, Castro built Iran a biotechnology plant.

So we have a history of Iran/Cuba ties and with Chavez grandstanding his anti-America venom, Ahmadihejad has chummed up with Chavez and have talked repeatedly about deploying a few Iranian made missiles in Venezuela (and Cuba) all for being a menace to the U.S.

DEBKAfile also reports that "The three-way talks have thus far yielded a solid decision for Iranian intelligence agents, some of them sabotage specialists, to be sent soon to Cuba and Venezuela. They will operate in the guise of road network and industrial development experts. Their real mission will be to conduct surveys on the practicability of using Cuba and Venezuela as bases for subversive activities against the United States and other parts of Latin America."

Wonder what would happen if a Democrat becomes President in 2008?

Back in Venezuela, Chavez is now facing some stiff competition in this year's Presidential election in December from Manuel Rosales, the current Governor from the state of Zulia in Venezuela.

Here's a breakdown:

Chavez:

Like his personality or not, he can whip up a firestorm in a rally like wildfire. He has at his disposal billions of dollars to spend on the local media, television and newspapers, to deliver his propaganda and campaign virutally 24/7, which he is doing.

Chavez has relatively more power and income to manipulate the election than any sitting president in the Americas. His control over voter the election voter machinery is absolute, which led to voter abstention of 75% in the 2005 election for the National Assembly. Many Venezuelans and even a higher percentage of foreigners believe that that his reelection is a foregone conclusion.

There is hope, no a lot, but some. Chavez is facing big, big problems. Approximately 75 percent of voters rate his performance negatively on issues such as poverty, unemployment, housing, insecurity and corruption and almost as many oppose his foreign spending which is at $36 Billion and growing. The homicide rate has tripled under Chavez and whiskey and rum sales have risen over 50% in the past 2 years.

Remember when Chavez was in New York City last week at the U.N. and he was promising to sell discounted oil to the poor in NYC andBoston? Well Venezuelans have had an a$$ full of him subsidizing the "poor" in other countries when it is needed in his own backyard, something that may come back to bite him.

It's funny how he opposes capitalism and the U.S. yet his favorite bankers and politicians are reaping large capitalistic rewards from this Socialistic state.

Can Chavez be beaten? He can if his opponent, Manual Rosales, can positively put forth a campaign that enables a share of Venezuala's oil wealth with families, take away the power of the government and hand it back to the people and a campaign to end the growing poverty, homelessness and corruption.

Rosales:

The light at the end of the tunnel for Venezuelans is Manuel Rosales. His top priority is the transferring the property of the land to its rightful owners and the initiative "Mi Negra". Currently the government grants leases to its rightful owner, sort of a production rights, while the government maintains ownership. Rosales is offering complete transfer of ownership to the rightful owners. What will really hit home the people of Veneazuala is an initiative called "Mi Negra", which is basically a plan to distribute a percentage of oil income directly to the people. Rosales' plan is to put Venezuelans to work by guaranteeing property rights legally that will encourage local and foreign private investment which will turn into job creation and wealth. "Mi Negra" is their share of the oil pie and the use of those funds will depend entirely on the people. It's not a subsidy, it's an inalienable right for all Venezuelans.

Terrorism and crime is an issue that Rosales wants to do away with. Hugo Chavez gave away over $100 Million to Bolivia (surprise) so they can build military bases within their territory, meanwhile, their police, National Guard and Army lack adequate funding. Rosales declares that not one single barrel of oil or single dollar will be given away to foreign countries that deal in terrorism.

Rosales also will subsidize Venezuelan farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs and develop their own farming infrastructure instead in importing subsidized goods from foreign countries.

He also is calling for the elimination of electronic voting machines, machines that would no doubt be manipulated by Chavez.

Another issue Rosales is running on is providing free education to private universities for the less fortunate which has been wildly successful in is state of Zulia, and elimante the humiliation of the donning of red shirts while standing in line to accept government assistance (yes they do that).

He also declares that fascism will be a thing of the past.

There is a battle within Venezuela, one that will either free Venezuelans from a tyrants control or continue in a downward spiral of repression and poverty. It has been reported that the hard Chavez vote is 25%, they would vote for him no matter what and about 30% would vote for him if there is no choice. Don't be surprised if the latter is true, meaning that there is a possibility of cancelling the elections, or the elimination of a candidate(s) if you know what I mean.

As I posted 2 weeks ago, Hugo Chavez has admitted he has a fight on his hands, saying that he knows he is tied with Rosales at this juncture. A recent poll in 7 regions show that Rosales has 72% of the votes while Chavez has 17%. Here's to hoping of a landslide victory for Rosales so we don't have to endure tactics much worse than those of Al Gore, John Kerry and Mexico's Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Just think what a better world we would be in if we were free of Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, their countries would be gold mines for capitalism.

We've got another fight in this world pitting good against evil, this one taking place in Venezuela. The blogosphere has done wonders for getting out information regarding elections, I encourage all bloggers to do their part and help in spreading the good word and help take down the evil tyrant, Hugo Chavez.

Well.....If It's Tequila, You'll Find It Here!

Danny Flores, composer of "Tequila," a huge hit for the Champs in 1958, has died. He was 77.Flores, who performed under the name Chuck Rio, lived in Westminster for years. He died Tuesday, family members said, after suffering for years from Parkinson's disease.

The classic instrumental featured Flores' instantly recognizable saxophone line and his periodic growl of the sole lyric – "Tequila!"

The History of Jihad

A great read on the The History of Jihad from Dee at Democracy Frontline.

Great Quote By The Idiot International Grandstander, Hugo Chavez

This guy is a tool.

Here's Chavez in a most entertaining moment, which came later at the press conference after yesterday's UN speech:

Excerpt:

But compared with Mr. Ahmadinejad, Mr. Chávez was just more colorful. He brandished a copy of Noam Chomsky’s “Hegemony or Survival: America’s Quest for Global Dominance” and recommended it to members of the General Assembly to read. Later, he told a news conference that one of his greatest regrets was not getting to meet Mr. Chomsky before he died. (Noam Chomsky, 77, is still alive.)

The Most Under-Reported Story of the Iraq War

Dymphna at Gates of Vienna links to a long blogpost by a woman who calls herself Kat and who spent two full years working as a reconstruction contractor in war-torn Iraq. The article is a cry of heartfelt and justified outrage regarding the abject failure of the MSM to report this massive effort. All we have heard about it so far are stories based on the adage "If It Bleeds, It Leads," plus the inevitable exposure of the occasional misdeeds or failures of the contracting companies. Dymphna recommends reading at least the sections headed HALLIBURTON and THE BIG STORY. Excerpts from both appear in the sequel. As is so often the case, Read The Whole Thing .

Kat's section on HALLIBURTON begins like this:

There are probably only three to maybe five companies in the world with the types of expertise and experience necessary to take up this type of work. The scope of Halliburton's work in Iraq was far more extensive than the US government could readily oversee on its own. It would be monetarily impractical if not physically impossible for the government to plan and put into place overnight the kind of business structure Halliburton has taken years to build.

This is no coat of whitewash slapped on to cover the blackwash [apologies to Del] one finds in the media, ranging from the Daily Kos on up to the NYT and Wapo. Kat covers in detail the logistic, political and security concerns that render the task of firms such as Halliburton fiendishy difficult. And she treats us to some notable successes, for example--

Part of the irrigation systems we worked with was literally responsible for providing the restoration of thousands of square kilometers of marshlands in southern Iraq, which in turn has restored an ancient way of life to thousands of people. When that’s considered, you’d think it might be worth making a bit of a fuss about.

But that's not what happened. Instead, out of the more than 200 project completions and section completions we and government sources reported to the press, only two that I know of ever reached outside the country in the MSM, and those two were buried in a report about an increase in oil production. That's it. That’s the whole show. That's all of the reporting anyone ever got from four major irrigation systems, twelve major water supply systems, and twelve major oil and natural gas systems.

Palestinian TV Encourages Suicide Attack of Jewish "Monkeys and Pigs"

And we're not talking about their pets or farm animals.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' state-run television the past few weeks has broadcast a music video in which viewers are encouraged to "martyr" themselves in exchange for eternal paradise and beautiful "maidens."

The Israeli-based monitor Palestinian Media Watch reports the video, airing on television controlled by Abbas' Fatah party, depicts a Palestinian woman who is shot in the back by Israeli soldiers. The woman then is transported to "paradise" where she joins white-robed "maidens" dancing in water while waiting to marry a male Palestinian who "martyrs" himself.

In one recent video, a Palestinian about to blow himself up among Jewish civilians is depicted reciting a prayer hoping for "paradise."

"Angels of mercy, escort our souls to Heaven after we fulfill this duty of crushing the descendents of monkeys and pigs. Dear father and mother, blessings of honor and respect to you, while you escort me to the Maidens of Paradise as a Martyr," states the soon-to-be suicide bomber.

In a sermon broadcast on PA television, Ismail al-Radouan, a prominent Palestinian sheikh, declares, "When the Shahid meets his maker, all his sins are forgiven from the first gush of blood. He is exempted from the torments of the grave; he sees his place in paradise, he is shielded from the great shock, and marries 72 Dark Eyed (Virgins)."

In an interview recently broadcast on Palestinian television, the mother of a real life suicide bomber explains how she had hoped her son would "martyr" himself.

"He (my son) would always dream of Shahada, it was his first and last goal in life. I told him, 'Dear, we all want to be shahids.' He said, 'In this entire world, I can't think of anyone to marry. I want to marry the Dark Eyed (Virgins or Maidens of Paradise).' I said if these are his thoughts, I wish him Shahada (martyrdom).

Chavez: U.S. Empire 'Will Be Finished in Near Future'

Venezuelan boss calls President Bush 'the devil'

I bet J. F'n Kerry, Murtha, Pelosi, Durbin, Kennedy, Reid....the whole lot, are loving this.

It must really be a drag to suffer from "Little Man's Disease".

This pissant of a leader(?) is making noise and is just pissed because he knows that come this December, Manuel Rosales will defeat him in the Venezuelan elections for Pres. and he's trying to make himself believe he is important. He desparately wants to be in the same category as Ahmadihejad, KJ Il and Castro.

My sources say that the people he holds "dear to his heart", the poor people, are becoming more and more fed up with him as conditions in Venezuela have only gotten worse for them.

My take.....

When he is defeated, he will not relinquish office and come time, Venezuelans will a force a coup d' état OR he will be assassinated.

And that's a good thing.

Like his idol Ché Guevara, maybe he'll end up with a bullet in him and buried in a jungle.

Excerpt:

Shiite militias are encouraging children — some as young as 6 or 7 — to hurl stones and gasoline bombs at U.S. convoys, hoping to lure American troops into ambushes or provoke them into shooting back, U.S. soldiers say.

Gangs of up to 100 children assemble in Sadr City, stronghold of radical anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Army militia, and in nearby neighborhoods, U.S. officers said in interviews this week.

American soldiers have seen young men, their faces covered by bandanas, talking with the children before the rock-throwing attacks begin — and sometimes handing out slingshots so the volleys will be more accurate, the troops said.

1793, President Washington laid the cornerstone of the U.S. Capitol

1873, The Panic of 1873 began and became one of the worst financial crises in the nation's history. Lasting 5 years and closing banks and deflating the markets, it damaged people's faith in the future of the nation. The surprise collapse of Jay Cooke and Co., one of the country's most reputable brokerage houses, started the depression. As Dierks Bentley Sings.."Come A Little Closer Baby"

I've got a date with busy, a bunch of stuff on the plate lately, anyway a few quick things:

1). I think Ahmadinejad may be a little light in the loafers, I've seen far too many picture of him dreamily looking into another man's eye's as they prepare to spoon. Man I hope I'm right.

2). Someone needs to harpoon Rosie O'Large-Dumbass. Her comments on her show "A View" (I refuse to call it the The View) referencing "radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam" will go down as the most ridiculous quote in her gay lifetime.

3). Read this , I've been looking for this since I heard it on the Laura Ingraham show
2 days ago. This will infuriate you, here's a snippet:

Guantanamo prisoners receive free medical, dental and psychiatric care, and in 2005 "there were 35 teeth cleanings." The other 400 or so housed there will have to wait awhile. Aslo, terrorists over the age of 50 receive FREE F'n colonoscopy's!!!!!!!! Read the rest.

4). We need more people like Oriana Fallaci

5). Great time of year here in Phoenix, AZ, the weather here is nnniiiice, should break down into the 80's in a few weeks....and.....it's National Football League time!!

6). My favorite song still is "Give it Away" by George Strait. Very cool.

Gotta run............

The future is now and Charles Krauthammer paints a gloomy picture of what may be in store:

In his televised 9/11 address, President Bush said that we must not "leave our children to face a Middle East overrun by terrorist states and radical dictators armed with nuclear weapons.'' There's only one such current candidate: Iran.

The next day, he responded thus (as reported by Rich Lowry and Kate O'Beirne of National Review) to a question on Iran: "It's very important for the American people to see the president try to solve problems diplomatically before resorting to military force.''

"Before'' implies that the one follows the other. The signal is unmistakable. An aerial attack on Iran's nuclear facilities lies just beyond the horizon of diplomacy. With the crisis advancing and the moment of truth approaching, it is important to begin looking now with unflinching honesty at the military option.

The costs will be terrible:

Local Fallen Soldier - Sgt. Jason L. Merrill

A roadside bomb killed Sgt. Jason Merrill three weeks after he arrived for his second tour of duty in Iraq. He had served a year in Iraq in 2004 to 2005 as a tank gunner. He was riding in a Humvee when he was killed, said Tim Merrill, his father.

Sgt. Merrill, along with his 3 brothers and sisters, went to elementary school where my 9 year old goes in Mesa, AZ. When he would return home from his tour of duty, he would go the elementary school and give presentations and show photographs from the war in Iraq. Jason's mother is a teacher's aide at the school.

This past Monday, the school held an assembly before school to honor Sgt Merrill.

Disproportionate Bombing

Remeber this ridiculous catch phrase? Well now it's reversed if you ask me.

Read this from today's New York Post:

Taliban terror leaders who had gathered for a funeral - and were secretly being watched by an eye-in-the-sky American drone - dodged assassination because U.S. rules of engagement bar attacks in cemeteries, according to a shocking report.
U.S. intelligence officers in Afghanistan are still fuming about the recent lost opportunity for an easy kill of Taliban honchos packed in tight formation for the burial, NBC News reported.

The unmanned airplane, circling undetected high overhead, fed a continuous satellite feed of the juicy target to officers on the ground.

"We were so excited. I came rushing in with the picture," one U.S. Army officer told NBC.

But that excitement quickly turned to gut-wrenching frustration because the rules of engagement on the ground in Afghanistan blocked the U.S. from mounting a missile or bomb strike in a cemetery, according to the report.

Pentagon officials declined comment and referred The Post to Central Command officers in Afghanistan, who did not respond to a request for comment or explanation.

They bomb their own at weddings, funerals, resorts and what does the US Military do? If we don't cut out this insanely ridiculous PC bull sh*t, we're going to lose this war.

Wow, Well Look Who's Apologizing

Via Stop The ACLU

WELL, here it is, five years late, but here just the same: an apology from an Arab-American for 9/11. No, I didn’t help organize the killers or contribute in any way to their terrible cause. However, I was one of millions of Arab-Americans who did the unspeakable on 9/11: nothing.

The only time I raised my voice in protest against these men who killed thousands of innocents in the name of Allah was behind closed doors, among the safety of friends and family. I did at one point write a very vitriolic essay condemning their actions, but fear of becoming another Salman Rushdie kept me from ever trying to publish it.

Well, I’m sick of saying the truth only in private - that Arabs around the world, including Arab-Americans like myself, need to start holding our own culture accountable for the insane, violent actions that our extremists have perpetrated on the world at large.

Yes, our extremists and our culture.

Every single 9/11 hijacker was Arab and a Muslim. The apologists (including President Bush) tried to reassure us that 9/11 had nothing to do with Islam, but was a twisting of a great and noble religion. With all due respect, read the Koran, Mr. President. There’s enough there for someone of extreme tendencies to find their way to a global jihad.

So who are you going to believe?

Men and women born into Islam who have been there and done that, men and women standing up to be counted and risking their lives in doing so with no obvious benefit to themselves, or feckless politicians and the dumba$$ ostriches who hide their heads in the sand?

I know where I stand, and I know which one of the two I’d share a foxhole with.

Venezuela: Worse For Business

I'm going to keep pounding in this thug until he's gone.

Mexico, Peru and Guatemala were among the ten countries worldwide that implemented most reforms that make business easier. Mexico jumped a whopping 19 places on the global ranking of 175 countries, while Peru jumped by 13 places and Guatemala by 10 places. All in all, seven countries in Latin America made progress, while 12 fell on the global ranking. Chile kept its position as the region’s best place in terms of ease of doing business, while Venezuela cemented its last place.

Venezuela managed to drop a whopping 20 places on the ranking, ending in 164th place of 175 countries worldwide. That means Venezuela is now a worse place for doing business than countries like Afghanistan and Burkina Faso, according to the World Bank.

Latin Business Chronicle has the rest.

Power Line linked to a video -- narrated by Ron Silver -- produced by MEMRI that examines the reaction to the attacks in much of the Muslim world.

John Hinderaker puts it well:

This isn't just a trip down memory lane, either; it is an important corrective to the revisionist narrative that holds that it was President Bush's policies that caused America to be disliked in many Arab and Muslim precincts. So is the ABC miniseries "The Path To 9/11." In fact, the destruction of the revisionist narrative is perhaps the aspect of that film that most threatens Democrats. Which might explain their reaction to it.

All I can say is these people are pathetic a**hole SOB's.

THE biggest story since 9/11 is that there hasn't been an other 9/11. According to our hysterical media culture, everything's always going wrong. The truth is that we've gotten the big things right.

Chavez UPDATE: "If I get killed, in one of these ambushes, I blame Chavez,

......and the people will know what to do, the people will take to the streets and oust Chavez if he pretends to eliminate the possibility that I become the next president of Venezuela" expressed a clearly upset Rosales, who added "I don't fear Chavez nor his ambushes."

.......said Manuel Rosales today, who quite possibly may be the man to replace Hugo Chavez in this Decembers elections in Venezuela.

Now We're Talking

Throw Kim Jong Il in the mix, then a team of assassins and now we've got a start.

Quote of the Day

via Op For

"To defeat Militant Islam, one must deprive it of victory. Every time you retreat, every time terrorists gain victory, that's when they recruit. Power attracts, weakness repeals.

Victory attracts, defeat repulses."

- From former (and future?) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, wise words that were ignored by Israel, who ended their sea and air blockade of Lebanon earlier today.

There's no doubt that Hezbollah considers their most recent war with Israel a victory, a point that Netanyahu has seized on:

Mr. Netanyahu told the gathering at the Four Seasons that Prime Minister Olmert's Kadima party was built on the policy of unilateral withdrawals – a premise that is now dead. And so, went his implication, is the party and Mr. Olmert's premiership. The policy of unilateral withdrawals started with the Oslo Accords. He spoke of how, from Israel's founding until then, Israel's military and her relations with her Arab neighbors had been based on Vladimir Jabotinsky's concept of the "Iron Wall."
This was a reference to a phrase used by the right of center Zionist, who held that only when the Arabs became convinced that they couldn't destroy Israel – with every attack on Israel met by an "iron wall" – would peace follow. If Israel's deterrence and response to attack was so strong the Arab's found themselves banging themselves against an "Iron Wall," they'd realize the futility of trying to destroy Israel and seek peace. The "Iron Wall" principle, said Mr. Netanyahu, led to peace with Egypt and Jordan. They attacked Israel, were soundly defeated, and sued for peace.

The same applied, in a way, to Arafat's PLO after the first Intafada. The prolonged low-intensity conflict had all but bankrupted terror organization, forcing Arafat to the negotiating table.

Withdrawing from Gaza led to a kidnapped soldier and a new war, withdrawing from Lebanon in 2000 led to 2 kidnapped soliders and an even larger war. And the contention that the Oslo Accords made terrorism worse is more fact than theory.

Follow Sun Tzu, one of the most critical dimensions in warfare is the capacity to know and understand your enemy. Netanyahu understands terrorism and understands what can defeat terrorism. Bring back the Iron Wall.

Obsession

Scott Johnson at Power Line will have a review of this movie in a day or two. Currently it is being shown in only 2 parts of the country, Minnesota and Colorado.

The accompanying promotional material states:

"Obsession" was awarded Best Feature Film at the Liberty Film Festival and also received the Special Jury Award in the Houston Worldfest International Festival. It is also an official selection in the Newport Beach Film Festival. This fall it will be shown in the Great Lakes Film Festival and the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival as well.

The “Obsession” documentary uses images from Arab TV, rarely seen in the West. “Obsession” reveals an ‘insider's view' of the hatred the Radicals are teaching, their incitement of global jihad, and their goal of world domination. The film also traces the parallels between the Nazi movement of World War II, the Radicals of today, and the Western world's response to both threats. A peaceful religion is being hijacked by a dangerous foe, who seeks to destroy the shared values we stand for. The world should be very concerned.

Should ebe interesting.

Hugo Boss? Maybe Not For Long

Hundreds of such leaflets have appeared recently in Montalban -west Caracas- and other parts of the city. The walls of recently opened Cardiologic Hospital for Children were covered with the leaflets according to sources. The caption reads "You'll need more than a 100 years for your treason to be forgiven by Venezuela's people. COWARD!!" The man in the picture is General Raul Baduel, directly responsible for Hugo Chavez's return to power on 13 April 2002.

What is interesting is that Aleksander Boyd at Vcrisis writes writes that Hugo Chavez will not relinquish power until, at least, 2021.

The Venezuelan Constitution allows a president to be re-elected only once in immediate succession. Chavez is eligible for re-election to another six-year term in December, but if he wins he wouldn't be able to run again in 2012.

Mr. Boyd also notes here that a poll commissioned by Chavez's campaign team "Comando Miranda" conducted in 7 regions of Venezuela, indicated that should elections be held next Sunday, Chavez's opponent Manuel Rosales, would get 72.1% of the vote, and Hugo Chavez would get 17.4%.

It will be very interesting to see if Chavez is defeated on election day this December 3
What will happen if Chavez refuses to give up power if defeated?

Check it out here. Chavez cancelling the elections is a possiblity.

Timeline: Islam's War Against The USA

Not against non-Muslims (which began centuries ago), but against the good 'ol USA.

President Bush finally, actually used the correct term, “Islamo-facist” in a speech last month and all hell broke loose. Arab groups screamed “racisim.” Liberals were apalled. And because of the uproar instigated by terrorist front groups like CAIR, the Bush administration caved under political correctness once again. No matter what you call the war we are engaged in, the truth is we are at war with radical Islam. Or more to the point, they are at war with us. They started it more than 30 years ago. Now, as we appoach the 5th anniversary of 9/11, let us once again review who it is that we are at war with and why — just in case some of us don’t know or have forgotten. I Love Stuff Like This......

The Democratic nominee for Congress from Florida’s 15th district believes the 9/11 attacks were a conspiracy orchestrated by Dick Cheney.

When it comes to 9/11, the Democrats are pretty much eff'd, taking this conspiracy path is such a pathetic reach.........keep it up!

Let's see, terrorists, Iranians, mullahs, Charlie Sheen and now the Democrats......what great company!

¡Vamos A México!

A bit of a diversion from the world's current events, so I thought I'd give a little insight to land where the Mrs. was born...... México!

Besides having great food, awesome beaches, hot chicks, great beer, tequila and gorgeous mountainsides, México is full of fascinating, tantalizing, enchanting, charming, engaging (and just about every other adj. that I haven't thought of) history.

It's just about impossible for me to post on México's history, I could go on and on, but for a nice insight into the history of México, check out AncientMexico.com - The Art, Culture, and History of Ancient Mesoamerica.

In addition, if you're into the Olmec, Mayan and Aztec archeology, etc., I highly recommend these books which I have read:

The Code of Kings: The Language of the Seven Sacred Maya Temples and Tombs
The Blood of Kings: Dynasty and Ritual in Maya Art
A Forest of Kings: The Untold Story of the Ancient Maya
Mexico, from Olmec to the Aztec

Since the Mrs. is from Tequila, and I love tequila (in moderation of course) here's a quick recommended list for different pocket books:

Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia anejo: $119 a bottle and I'm smiling just thinking about it now.
Herradura reposado: A good reposado to get you started. $38 / bottle
Sauza Hornitos reposado: great price for a great all-purpose tequila, best bang for your buck, $26 /bottle
Corzo blanco: It'll give Patron a run for its money, $60 / bottle
El Jimador blanco: A mixto (a tequila that's less than 100% agave). Great for mixing, $19.99.

FYI, stay away from the Gold tequila's, they're gold for a reason, and that is caramel coloring which means it's sugar. Use the white or clear tequila's for mixing. Also, a buddy asked me about Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Tequila......buy it.........he has an excellent product. My preference in order is the reposado, white and then the añejo.

Today in History.....September 6

On this day in …

1781, British Brigadier General Benedict Arnold, adds to his notoriety by ordering his British command to burn New London, Connecticut. The Continental Army had been using the town to store a large stash of military supplies. The act sealed his reputation as a public enemy and his name became a synonym in common American parlance for "traitor." The bravery and military prowess Arnold had previously demonstrated, have been completely overshadowed by his later actions against the country he had once so valiantly served

1901, President William McKinley was shot by anarchist Leon Czolgosz at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, N.Y. McKinley died eight days later; he was succeeded by Vice President Theodore Roosevelt

1909, American explorer Robert Peary sent word that he had reached the North Pole five months earlier

1916, the first self-serve grocery store, Piggly Wiggly, was opened in Memphis, Tenn., by Clarence Saunders. (The store was set up to allow customers to hand-pick their groceries, rather than request them from a clerk standing behind a counter.)

1941, Jews over the age of 6 in German-occupied areas were ordered to wear yellow Stars of David

1970, "Palestinian" terrorists, practitioners of that "religion of peace", seized control of three jetliners which were later blown up on the ground in Jordan after the passengers and crews were evacuated

1976, a Soviet Air Force pilot lands his MIG fighter jet in Japan and asks for asylum in the United States. The incident was a serious embarrassment for the Soviets, and also provided a bit of a surprise for U.S. officials

1997, Britain bade farewell to Princess Diana with a funeral service at Westminster Abbey

2001, Mexican President Vicente Fox addressed a joint session of the U.S. Congress, urging greater trust between the neighboring countries as the basis for "a new partnership in North America

Apostates! Is Death Near??

Will ‘Khaled’ Centanni and ‘Ya'aqob’ Wiig, as apostates, be marked for death?

  • Diana West has a nice article
  • the 2 "converts".

    A U.N. Success Story

    Title = Oxymoron

I have a friend, he is part black, he's Jewish and can swing it on the golf course, no, he's not Tiger Woodstein, close.......anyway, he sent this to me.......

A peacemaker walks up to the left side of a line.
A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker introduces himself. The terrorist kills him.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker asks, "why did you kill my friend?" The terrorist kills him and rapes his wife.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker says, "Stop that!" The terrorist kills him, rapes his daughter and kills his wife.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker says, "I'll pay you $1000 if you stop attacking us."
The terrorist agrees to the deal, takes the $1000, and kills him.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker appeals to the United Nations.
The United Nations says the peacemaker is at fault. The terrorist kills him.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker now has a gun, and threatens to use it.
Other peacemakers start chanting the old 60's whine, "Can't we all just get along?" The peacemaker hesitates. The terrorist kills him.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker tries to convince his peacemaker friends that the terrorists aren't going to respond to negotiations,
but they insist that if he kills the terrorist it'll just make the other terrorists mad.
The peacemaker reluctantly agrees to try negotiating again. The terrorist kills him., his entire family, and his neighbor's family.
A heated debate now ensues between the peacemakers who want to be nice to the terrorists and
the peacemakers who believe that there can never be peace until the terrorists are all dead.
While they are debating, the terrorists kill 15 more peacemakers.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker asks himself, "Which is more important: being liked by everyone, or protecting my family?"
The terrorist pulls a knife to kill the peacemaker, but the peacemaker pulls a gun and kills the terrorist first.
The United Nations condemns the peacemaker's use of unproportional force.
Many of his peacemaker friends turn against him.
A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line.
The peacemaker apologizes for what his friend did to the other terrorist.
The terrorist kills him, his entire family and his neighbors, and threatens to destroy the city as soon as they develop a bigger weapon.
A peacemaker refuses to meet at the line because every time a peacemaker goes to the line the terrorist kills him.
A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line and fires rockets into the peacemaker's town.
The United Nations condemns the way the peacemaker provoked the terrorist by refusing to come to
the line and meet with him. Generations pass and not much changes until one day when the son of a
peacemaker decides that the old strategy simply won't work. He walks up to the left side of the line a little early.
As the terrorist approaches the right side of the line the peacemaker shoots him.
Another terrorist approaches to replace the first, and the peacemaker shoots him too.
This scene plays out several more times. Then a terrorist approaches carrying a white flag,
but he also has weapons. The peacemaker shoots him. A terrorist next approaches with a ceasefire
resolution from the U.N. The peacemaker shoots him also. A large group of terrorists approach
and the peacemaker shoots them all and drops a nuclear bomb on the city they came from.
The peacemaker continues killing the terrorists until the terrorists are all dead.

There is finally peace on earth and the United Nations takes the credit.

    R.I.P. Steve Irwin

A little late on this one, but gotta give props when due. I think just about everyone on the planet recognized this guy, it's shame he had to go so young. He was a little over the top to some, but I tell you what, this guy had a pair.......and a half. I saw a clip of Steve Irwin on FOX News in the morning a while back, they had a stuffed toy 'gator, and he grabbed it wrestled on on the floor, they threw a stuffed horse on him as well, he was fighting 2 stuffed animals, then FOX host Brian Kilemeade jumped on top, very funny clip.Irwin always referred to himself as a "conservationist," never an "environmentalist", and he was a strong supporter of Australia's Prime Minister, John Howard, who is one very good guy as well.

    Ahmadinejad's Apocalyptic Vision

    - Who exactly is the Hidden Imam?

    - Why did the Iranian president refer to August 22?

    - How and why does his supposed return inspire the nuclear Mullahs’ visions of annihilating Israel and, eventually, the rest of the non-Islamic world?

    - Does Ahmadinejad believe that “speeding things up” in terms of the usage of nuclear weapons will hasten the return of the Hidden Imam?

Read this top notch interview from FrontPageMag.com with Jamie Glazov, Robert Spencer, Timothy Furnish, Serge Trifkovic and Andrew Bostom, fascinating stuff. Here's the link
    http://frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=24199

And a tip o' the hat to nanc for this - Does Ahmadinejad believe he is the Mahdi?

“The Jews love life, so that is what we shall take away from them. We are going to win because they love life and we love death.” -

That is from Hezbollah’s “spiritual” lead goof, Hassan Nasrallah

Victor Davis writes in his column today:

Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad trumps that Hitlerian nihilism by reassuring the poor, maltreated Germans that there was no real Holocaust. Perhaps he is concerned that greater credit might still go to Hitler for Round One than to the mullahs for their hoped-for Round Two, in which the promise is to “wipe” Israel off the map.

The only surprise about the edition of Hitler’s Mein Kampf that has become a best seller in Middle Eastern bookstores is its emboldened title translated as “Jihadi” — as in “My Jihad” — confirming in ironic fashion the “moderate” Islamic claim that Jihad just means “struggle,” as in an “inner struggle” — as in a Kampf perhaps.

Nearly 340 people, about half of them children, died in the ensuing three-day ordeal
